We are a Contracting Authority 100% owned by our members on a not-for-profit basis.
Our in-house experts deliver a wide range of services across energy procurement, energy risk management, bureau services, data insight, water management and carbon and cost reduction.
At TEC we understand the complex energy, financial and sustainability needs of our sector. We work in partnership with our members, guiding them to make informed decisions based on their individual energy portfolios.
We primarily work with the education sector including universities, colleges and GLAM sector ( Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), but also support the wider public sector.
We are not a TPI (Third Party Intermediary) or broker but a recognised ‘Other Contracting Body’. This means that other contracting bodies can utilise and access any of our frameworks. We also remain fully compliant with EU and UK Procurement Regulations.
Our members have voting rights on both our governance and policy. They can fully trust in the transparency of our organisational management. All policy decisions are taken with benefit to the membership as a key priority.
