Case Study: Cardiff Metropolitan University

We chatted with Graham Lewis, Chief Officer University Environments and Property, about how Cardiff Metropolitan University is cutting wasteful out-of-hours energy use.

Cardiff Metropolitan University has made significant cost and carbon savings through addressing out-of-hours energy consumption. By interrogating half hourly billing and private metering across the campus, the estates team has revealed and, is addressing, the disconnect between occupancy and energy consumption.

Friday 19th Sept 11amHeritage Buildings Guide – Molly Gregory from Greater South East Net Zero Hub GSENZH hub will present their Heritage Building Decarbonisation Guide including information on stakeholder management for a heritage project and a checklist of where to begin and best practice. Please note this is not a technical guide.

Friday 26th Sept 11amHeat Pumps Guide – Chris Parkin from Greater South East Net Zero Hub will present their recently published guidance on specifying the Design, Installation and Commissioning of heat pump systems.
