Exciting line-up confirmed for TEC’s 2025 Conference ‘The Power of Less’

Reducing energy costs, consumption and carbon will be the focus for TEC’s 2025 Conference. 

The Power of Less at Conference Aston on November 13th will feature a range of expert speakers across the higher education and energy sectors. Thought-provoking insights and sessions will focus on the financially challenging environment and how to do more for less.  

Highlights of this year’s conference include: 

  • A deep-dive market analysis of the latest trends and future drivers in the energy market.  
  • Chances to learn how members have successfully implemented low cost energy and carbon reduction initiatives.  
  • Framework Engagement: talk directly with your framework suppliers  
  • How the energy transition is evolving 

Andrew Verity, award-winning Economics Correspondent for BBC News, and Dr Jan Rosenow, Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Oxford, are our two keynote speakers. Emma-Jane Danielsson from the Greater South East Net Zero Hub will also be updating the conference on how district heat policy is evolving.  

The implementation of significant energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewables will be the focus for our Member-led sessions. These will feature Graham Lewis from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Kirsti Norris from UWE and Paul Dean from Newman University.
