Latest Blog, Adam Clarke
We sat down with TEC’s Managing Director Adam Clarke to discuss the role TEC can play in supporting a more collaborative approach which will empower universities and achieve cost savings.
‘A new era of collaboration’ has been heralded by an influential report published by Universities UK about the future of the university sector. The report, created by the UUK transformation and efficiency taskforce, responds to the severe financial pressure the sector is currently under. It calls for a much greater focus on how universities across the UK can work together, share services and assets, and collaborate in the national interest.

Recent events
NWUPC As always it was fantastic to support our sector partners, NWUPC in their conference held at the University of Liverpool in June. It was clear the discussions centred around the new procurement regulations, both understanding and implementing them in an effective way to deliver value for the sector during difficult times. These events always provide the opportunity to support the membership directly with any questions/ projects they have and this was no exception.
EAUC The conference didn’t have a formal theme or title, they chose not to this year, but a clear theme emerged: achieving more with less. Sustainability, especially engaging students around environmental issues, was a central focus. It was fantastic to see many of our members featured as speakers, and we enjoyed the opportunity to support them and learn more about their work.
