TEC Conference 2025 – save the date!

We’re excited to invite you to our 2025 Annual TEC Conference! This year it will be taking place on Thursday the 13th November 2025.

This year, we’ll be returning to Conference Aston in Birmingham. The day will be filled with thought-provoking sessions and insights from a range of expert speakers across the Higher Education and Energy Sectors.

Recent Events

BUFDG

At this year’s BUFDG Conference, Adam Clarke (Managing Director) and Duncan Wyatt (Head of Trading) presented to the smaller Higher Education Providers (HEPs) Group fringe session, offering key insights into the UK energy market.

Several great conversations took place across the two days of the wider annual meeting. Despite the well-publicised and often unprecedented challenges facing many across the sector, the support, solidarity and focus on solutions across the finance community was evident throughout.

 

Universities UK Transformation & Efficiency Summit 2025

Adam Clarke also presented during a panel session at the Universities UK (UUK) Transformation & Efficiency Summit. The session focused on the future funding landscape for the Higher Education Sector and explored potential solutions for driving institutional transformation.

Adam highlighted energy efficiency and sufficiency as a key tool in the creation of immediate revenue headroom—helping institutions manage short-term costs and strengthen long-term financial capacity.

 

AUDE

The TEC team exhibited at the AUDE Conference at Cardiff University, key themes included creating high-quality, efficient, and vibrant estates. The event encouraged open, collaborative conversations, with discussions on the sector’s financial challenges—including consolidation, mergers, and shared services.

 

AUB see the end of their decarb project

On Thursday 20th March, Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) celebrated the completion of a decarbonisation project which saw the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps and Water Source Heat Pumps on campus to replace expiring gas boilers.
