TEC 5th Generation Energy Supply Frameworks
Following continuous assessment of supplier performance and consideration of the commercial benefits, we can
confirm that we have exercised the option for the second 2 year period of these energy supply frameworks with EDF
Energy and Corona Energy. This will see energy supplied under these frameworks, which commenced in October
2020, extended through to 30th September 2024.
Retaining many benefits of the previous frameworks this extension allows for continued effective management of energy risk and supplier delivery by TEC to our members. Since the original award date was just ahead of outbreak of Covid 19, it has become clear that such favourable commercial and other terms might not have been available had the impact of the pandemic been known to the suppliers. They represent better value than ever.
