TEC, in partnership with our electricity Framework provider EDF, is relaunching its Solar Services – helping Members to benefit from clean, cost effective onsite renewable energy.
The refreshed Solar Services offering is the first in a series of ‘behind the meter’ energy reduction solutions we are rolling out this year. The service provides an easy route to market for solar PV.
Solar installations available include roof top, ground mount and solar car port projects. Members benefit from free feasibility studies to assess what project would suit their institution.
Our Solar Services include:
Dr John Brenton, Head of Carbon Reduction Solutions at TEC, said: “Solar PV emerged as a favoured renewable solution amongst the Membership in our Carbon Reductions Solutions survey. Through our Framework partner EDF, institutions can benefit from a pre-procured, quick and compliant route to market.
“In a challenging financial environment, ‘behind the meter’ generation can help. With Members telling us that energy reduction is key to controlling cost and carbon, we will be rolling out a suite of estate-side energy management solutions this year.”
The University of Wales Trinity St Davids, in partnership with TEC, has already taken advantage of installing solar panels on multiple rooftops. The University benefited from the efficiency and simplicity offered by the TEC framework agreement, enabling them to swiftly transition from concept to installation.
We will be exploring the Solar Services on offer, including procurement options, key benefits, and support available, in our upcoming webinar on May 21st. Contact you MSA for the registration link.
