EDF announce plans for new wind farm in Wales

EDF Renewables have disclosed their plans to develop a new wind farm which will be located in Powys, Wales.

The project will be launched in partnership with 14 local farming families. Along with this, opportunities for local residents and businesses to invest in the project will also be available.

Furthermore, to reassure the local community they will be holding Public Information Days. These days are designed to answer community led questions and will showcase a 3D render of what the site will look like.

Additionally, EDF have been carrying out ecological and feasibility surveys on the area and will be submitting a report to the Welsh Government.

A final decision on the development will be made by the Welsh Government after the application has been reviewed by an independent planning party.
