An Important Announcement from TEC’s Chair on a change to TEC’s Leadership
‘New Managing Director for TEC
After 9 years as Managing Director of TEC, Richard Murphy has decided to stand down to allow him to semi retire and spend more time with his family. The Board are very grateful for all Richard’s work over the years during which TEC has grown and thrived. During his tenure membership has significantly expanded, market leading framework agreements for both energy and water have been put in place, and the UK’s first multi party PPA launched. Internally, the organisation has achieved and retained a Gold Investors in People standard. Richard will be missed by all at TEC and across the sector and we wish him well for the future.
The Board are also delighted to announce that they have appointed Adam Clarke as the new Managing Director of TEC. Adam joins TEC from a long career in EDF and brings the expertise and the energy to lead the organisation going forward as it continues to develop in support of Member needs in transitioning to a Net Zero world. Adam will be joining TEC in March and looks forward to meeting Members and stakeholders as well as leading the business going forward.’
