Wave & TEC Social Value Day, Birmingham Botanical Gardens

On Wednesday 18th June TEC staff joined our water framework supplier Wave Utilities volunteering at Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, which are one of the most significant historic Botanic Gardens in the UK and are now a registered charity, reliant on local support.

On a sunny glorious day in Birmingham 14 volunteers worked alongside the Garden’s horticultural team preparing flower beds, improving paths, trimming shrubs and weeding.

A lot was achieved in the space of a day and made a big difference to the space ready for their upcoming events.

It was great for the team to provide much needed support to a local based charity.
