Heating and cooling comprise the lion’s share of most members’ electricity and gas consumption. Controlling the temperatures that buildings are heated to and cooled to can help to significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions, so having a policy on heating and cooling is an important part of the cost and carbon reduction journey.
