Speaker of the Week! – Conference
We are excited to announce this weeks speaker of the week Tom Palmer from Cornwall Insight!
Tom Palmer will be presenting a morning slot at our Energy & Education Conference on Regulation, Policy and Supply Markets. Tom will be taking us through potential changes to regulation, policy and supply markets and how these will impact institution estates on energy challenges such as “Private Wire” and “Demand Side Response”.
About Tom
Tom is a Managing Consultant in Cornwall Insight with over 14 years within the energy sector, working in electricity, gas and oil. of Public Private Partnership experience.
Tom has been responsible for leading a projects on CCUS, corporate PPA, Demand Side Response tendering, trading and hedging strategies, Power Purchase Agreements, Battery Storage and gas peaker due diligence.
These in-depth analysis and modelling skills have been extensively applied in energy storage (co-location, behind the meter and grid scale), distributed generation, large-scale thermal plant and demand side response projects whilst at Cornwall and his previous roles.
