Adam Clarke is Managing Director of The Energy Consortium (TEC), bringing over 25 years of expertise in UK energy trading and risk management. His career spans wholesale commodity markets, asset optimisation, and the design of advanced risk strategies in complex, fast-moving environments.
After moving into the retail energy sector in 2012, Adam developed innovative trading and risk solutions for industrial and commercial customers. At EDF Energy, he went on to build one of the UK’s largest renewable offtake portfolios, delivering high-impact Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs).
Since joining TEC in 2022, Adam has focused on delivering energy procurement for the Higher and Further education sectors and museums group—helping organisations reduce costs, manage risk, and accelerate progress towards Net Zero through smarter, market-led solutions.
