New Board Members – Have you considered the benefits of becoming a Non-Executive Director for TEC?

TEC takes pride that our public sector not-for-profit consortium is operated “by the members, for the members”. This is perhaps best demonstrated through the make-up and engagement of our Non-Executive Board.

Our Non-Executive Directors make a substantive and measurable contribution to the decisions of the board and as such, to the growth and delivery of the mission and strategy of our organisation.

The commitment is not significant, with a maximum of 4 meetings per year and half of these are held “virtually”. Non-Executive Directors of TEC provide a vital link to the membership and can be sure to benefit from professional development and enhancing their career whilst serving the consortium.

At a time when TEC is continuing to grow our membership and services, governance and oversight are vital. As a barometer for what the sector requires and to give feedback on what is driving sector agendas, the TEC Non-Executive fulfils a key and rewarding role.
