TEC Member North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) has already experienced the benefits of using the PowerNow product, which is delivered by EDF Energy and is available as an additional service via TEC’s Flexible Frameworks.

The short video gives an insight into the energy management system and details how PowerNow has enabled NESCOT to prioritise their energy approach to deliver cost savings, release these savings back into their institution and also respond to the challenge to reduce carbon emissions.

TEC’s Member Services Advisor Kerry Sheppard features in this video case-study which outlines the aims and benefits of PowerNow. Using this technology it is possible to monitor current consumption, give complete transparency on where energy is being used or even wasted and change usage patterns to avoid unnecessary costs.

TEC are always striving to extend the range of services and tools available through our Frameworks and add value to our membership.  Working in partnership with EDF Energy and using other TEC initiatives, this reporting tool is an excellent example of how TEC members can improve awareness, deliver energy cost reduction and demonstrate and report clear progress towards Net Zero Carbon.
