Future Energy Scenarios: Bridging the gap to net zero
In March 2020 the National Grid ESO published their Future Energy Scenarios: Bridging the gap to net zero report. We have summarised the three areas that they understand to be essential in achieving net zero. We have summarised why bioenergy, electric vehicles and managing peak electric heat demand are of strategic importance, key conclusions from research into each area and actions moving forwards.
