TEC Conference 2024

Once again, we are thrilled to invite you to the 2024 annual TEC Conference, scheduled to take place at Conference Aston in Birmingham City on Thursday, November 21st, 2024. This all-day event will be offered free of charge to our members. To book your place and to keep up to date with our programme, please follow this link Summary & Programme – The Energy Consortium 2024 – Delegates (cvent.com)

Our conference programme will feature insights from a host of subject matter experts from across our sectors and the energy industry. While prices have fallen from the highs of the energy price crisis, they remain elevated and volatile in historic terms. During the conference, we will examine the latest market outlook and consider what will likely drive the market over the next couple of years.

Acknowledging the diversity within the Higher and Further Education, Galleries, and Museum sectors, we will focus on identifying commonalities through collaboration. The day will centre on gaining and sharing insights and best practices.

Event Highlights:

• Economic Outlook: Gain insights from leading economists on the state of the UK economy and impacts on the Education and Museum Groups sectors.

• Market Outlook: Deep dive analysis from experts on the latest trends and future drivers in the energy market.

• Energy and Carbon Reduction: Learn from members who have successfully implemented energy and carbon reduction initiatives.

• Framework Engagement: Engage directly with framework suppliers and ask questions about the new frameworks.

• Future Innovations: Explore future developments and innovations, including technologies like demand response, heat networks, and storage.

While we will be considering future and emerging technologies, the focus will be on practical steps that members can take today to reduce consumption, spend, and emissions.

We will be sharing further information about the conference programme over the coming months. Kindly reserve your spot by booking here. We look forward to seeing many of you at this event, where we can continue to empower education and energy for a sustainable future.
