How do we know when an energy saving measure has truly made a difference? Measurement and Verification (M&V) in energy is the systematic process of using measurements to quantify the actual energy savings, cost reductions, and performance improvements achieved by energy conservation measures (ECMs). It calculates savings by comparing energy usage before and after upgrades, adjusting for variables like weather or production changes.
We will be joined by colleagues from Oxford Brookes University and an the company EEVS who will be taking us through M&V and showing practical examples.
