Energy efficiency – A priority for new build homes in Scotland

The Scottish Government has announced new regulations to ensure new build homes use low carbon or renewable heating from 2024.

These regulations are being carried out to improve energy efficiency in new build projects. This will also be phased in for non-domestic buildings being built from 2024 too.

This initiative is one of many, in the Scottish Governments efforts to tackle climate change.
