Conference Update: Speaker of the Week!
As our Energy & Education Connected Conference is fast approaching, we are pleased to announce our speaker of the week!
Georg Muller from Reuters Refinitiv will be joining us to present a morning session. As energy prices become increasingly linked to changing weather conditions, meteorologist Georg will take us through the challenges of forecasting these events as they become more frequent.
About Georg
Georg is Senior Meteorologist at Refinitiv and is responsible for weather data analysis and forecasts for the power and gas research teams.
He studied physics and meteorology in Karlsruhe, Germany, specialising in modelling of wind systems and heavy precipitation events and visualisation of meteorological data. Georg has built and still maintains the well-known German weather website wetterzentrale.de.
Since 2000, he worked as a meteorologist for Point Carbon which was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2010.
