Barclays have announced that they are backing the University of Worcester for a £2 million Green Asset Finance fund.
The funding will be used to continue the university’s efforts on sustainability.
Barclays are already supporting the University enabling them to improve their energy efficiency and waste reduction.
As a result of the funding, LED lights and electric vehicle charging points will be installed along with developing onsite solar energy generation.
The university have welcomed the support in their journey to become carbon neutral. They also added that the journey has been empowering for their staff, students and partners.
